The vibrance of the colors and availability of patterns would be the only reason to choose this. I got this for travel, to use on very long drives for work. I typically keep a cooler consisting of 1/3 16 oz cans, 1/3 12 oz cans, 1/3 other. We talk rim fits too tight to be able to slip a can in at all, you actually need to hold the CanSok with one hand while pushing in carefully with the other defeating the entire purpose of using this for travel while driving (not cool to take both hands off the wheel at the same time). All other brands I have ever used I could leave in the cup holder while sliding the can into it easily. This will not stretch to even a slightly wider can such as Arizona iced tea which I enjoy frequently in the very hot climate, top seam ripped wide open the first time I tried. The performance of this CanSok does not go any measurable lengths further than the original Kovers brand (without the foil but could stretch to a multitude of wider sizes). This just not fulfill any part of its intended purpose of being easier to use or keep drinks colder longer than other or prior brains I have owned.
