Editorial Affiliate Program FAQs

  • This program is designed for publications, editors, commerce writers, independent bloggers, newsletters, and other editorial partners creating relevant product-focused content.

    Primarily creating content for social media? Our separate Social Affiliate Program will be the better fit. All applications are reviewed before approval.

  • Approved editorial partners earn 7.5% commission on qualifying Sok-It.com purchases, with a 14-day attribution window.

    Affiliate links do not include a customer discount by default, allowing readers to shop our normal assortment and offers.

  • Nope. The program gives you the option to earn commission from coverage you independently choose to publish. Approval does not require you to feature Sok-It, and all editorial decisions remain entirely yours.

  • Absolutely—but whenever your publication’s policies allow, we strongly encourage you to prioritize your direct Sok-It.com affiliate links.

    Sending readers to Sok-It.com gives them the complete Sok-It brand experience, access to our full assortment, and new releases that may not yet be available on Amazon. They may also have access to stronger sitewide offers and promotions.

    For partners, our direct program offers a 7.5% starting commission and a 14-day attribution window, giving you more time to earn from the readers you refer. It’s designed to create a better experience for your audience while making direct Sok-It coverage more rewarding for you.

    You may still use Amazon links where required or appropriate, but Sok-It.com should be the preferred destination whenever possible.

  • Once approved, you’ll be asked to complete your account setup in Social Snowball. From your account, you can create unique, trackable links and customize the destination to send readers directly to the most relevant product, collection, gift guide, new release, or other eligible page on Sok-It.com.

    Your links may be used in new coverage or added to relevant previously published content, provided your publication’s policies allow it.

    To receive credit for qualifying purchases, be sure to use the affiliate links generated through Social Snowball rather than copying a standard Sok-It.com URL.

  • Yes—we want to make covering Sok-It as easy as possible. Approved partners may request current product information, high-resolution imagery, and other supporting assets.

    Samples may also be considered for relevant editorial opportunities based on fit, timing, and product availability. Receiving a sample never requires coverage or a positive review.

  • Commissions become eligible for payment 30 days after the associated order has shipped, subject to order verification. Eligible payouts are issued through Social Snowball via Tremendous, and partners receive an email with instructions for claiming payment using the available payout options.

    Canceled, returned, refunded, disputed, fraudulent, self-referred, or otherwise ineligible orders do not qualify for commission. If part of an order is returned or refunded, the commission may be adjusted to reflect the final qualifying purchase amount.

  • Yes. Affiliate partners are responsible for using a clear affiliate disclosure wherever required. Most publications already have standard language explaining that they may earn commission from purchases made through links in their content; they do not need to create a separate Sok-It-specific policy.

    Partners should follow all applicable requirements and their publication’s own disclosure standards.
